At the same time derivatives metrics show crowded bullish positioning — low implied volatility premia, compressed skews favoring calls, and concentrated long positions.

When social exuberance and derivative positioning align at extremes, markets are vulnerable to fast mean reversion.
Retail-driven demand often chases momentum and can reverse quickly on minor catalysts (neutral news, macro risk-off, liquidity withdrawal).
For AUTO, the combination means liquidity providers may widen spreads and risk-preferring counterparties may step back, creating gap-downs and rapid unwind of crowded longs.
How to monitor:
