Designed and implemented the marketplace backend, Solana integration, wallet and metadata workflows that enabled high‑volume NFT operations
Directed the engineering development of Magic Eden's marketplace stack with direct responsibility for core systems that process listings, bids and settlements on Solana. Key actions included designing low‑latency order handling, integrating with prevalent Solana wallet APIs, and operationalizing metadata standards compatible with Metaplex and other token metadata conventions. Technical decisions around off‑chain caching, indexer selection and on‑chain transaction batching reduced per‑trade costs and latency, which materially influenced the platform's ability to sustain large trading volumes. Led engineering runs that implemented minting flows, collection management interfaces and indexer endpoints used by front‑end services and third‑party apps. Those deliverables defined how creators published collections, how secondary sales preserved metadata and royalties, and how external tooling could interact with the marketplace. Work to harden node operations, monitor confirmation times and handle spiky NFT mints directly affected user experience during high‑demand drops. Managed cross‑chain technical efforts and migration paths for features that required smart contract wrappers or bridging logic when expanding beyond Solana. Documented engineering choices and public integrations provided a reproducible stack that other developers and partners used to integrate with Magic Eden, thereby creating a concrete technical footprint in the NFT infrastructure landscape.
