Protocol architect and early technical lead · Edge & Node

Designed core indexing protocol and economic model used by GRT and led mainnet launch

Played a central role in defining the technical foundations and economic incentives that underpin The Graph network. Responsibilities included specifying the indexing/query architecture, defining the responsibilities of indexers/curators/consumers, and shaping the staking and reward mechanics that govern GRT distribution and indexer behavior. Led coordination of the implementation effort that produced Graph Node and related tooling, working with core developers to ensure the protocol could handle real‑world dApp query loads. This included setting priorities for subgraph spec features, query routing, and integration points with Ethereum and compatible chains, which materially affected how data is indexed and served on the network. Directed technical decisions during the transition to mainnet and the rollout of the initial economic model, including parameters used for inflation, allocation and delegation mechanics. Those documented choices directly shaped staking economics, indexer incentives and token utility, influencing on‑chain staking flows and market perceptions of GRT value. Engaged with early ecosystem partners and contributed to establishing the governance architecture that later migrated certain operational responsibilities to community entities. Practical outputs tied to these actions—protocol specifications, release milestones and token parameter settings—are traceable to the decisions made in this role.
