Wu Chia-chau leads Nan Ya Plastics Corporation as Chairman, overseeing one of the four pillars of Taiwan's Formosa Plastics Group — one of the world's largest petrochemical empires, founded by the late Wang Yung-ching (often called "the god of management" in Taiwan). Nan Ya Plastics produces a diverse range of products: plastics (PVC compounds, synthetic leather, processed plastics), polyester and chemical fibers, electronic materials (copper-clad laminates and prepregs used in printed circuit board manufacturing — critical for the global electronics supply chain), and DRAM memory chips through its subsidiary Nanya Technology.
