Directed technical design and implementation work that defined IOST's operational mechanics and performance profile. Authored and supervised the integration of the project's Proof-of-Believability (PoB) consensus model, making concrete design decisions about candidate selection, reputation scoring, and slot assignment that governed validator selection and block production. Those design choices directly affected decentralization trade-offs and validator economics. Led development of the core client and node software, coordinating releases, testnets and production hardening. Defined sharding strategies and cross-shard communication routines adopted in protocol releases, and set engineering standards for state management and transaction processing. Oversaw bug bounties, security audits and upgrade pathways that shaped network resilience and upgradeability. Operated as chief technical liaison between research, engineering and external audit teams, translating protocol research into deployable modules and system-level configurations. Delivered the technical milestones required for mainnet readiness and subsequent protocol upgrades; these tangible engineering outputs determined the actual capacity, latency, and security properties experienced by applications and token holders.
