Authored RSK whitepapers and led implementation of merge‑mining and consensus adaptations that underpin RIF compatibility

Led the technical research and protocol engineering that converted conceptual sidechain ideas into the operational RSK platform used by RIF components. Produced key whitepapers and design documents outlining the merge‑mining approach, the two‑way peg model and EVM compatibility layers; those deliverables were translated into reference implementations and testnets under his technical guidance. The concrete publication of protocol specifications and subsequent code commits established consensus rules and transaction validation behaviours used by RIF‑integrated services. Directed low‑level cryptographic decisions and block‑validation logic that allowed Bitcoin miners to secure smart contracts via merge‑mining, which directly determined the security assumptions RIF services rely on. His work on difficulty adjustment, checkpointing and fork resolution had measurable downstream effects on how RIF storage and naming systems trust the underlying chain. Contributed to protocol upgrade paths and coordinated technical audits that influenced release timing of RIF modules. Those engineering choices shaped interoperability guarantees, gas semantics and finality expectations that application developers and token holders depended upon.
