Sergei Ivancheglo
The legacy of the ARDR projects is directly connected to the early development of Nxt—a project that was worked on and developed by early developers, including Sergey Ivancheglo. The contribution of these figures is evident not only in specific code fragments and the implementation of Proof of Stake (PoS) mechanisms but also in engineering approaches to transaction processing, node structure, and the internal economy format. The technical core of Nxt became the starting point for the architectural redesign implemented in Ardor: many concepts, interaction patterns between modules, and methods for ensuring registry integrity were inherited or reimagined based on the original solutions. Furthermore, changes in the composition of key developers and their public activity influenced how the community perceived the project: transitions, disagreements, and public statements by early authors shaped trust levels, expectations for product development, and investor reactions during critical moments such as token migrations and organizational reforms. Therefore, the contribution of early Nxt authors remains an important factor in shaping both the technical and institutional history of ARDR.
