Built and scaled grants operations, matching pool mechanics and payment flows for Gitcoin Grants rounds
Responsible for the practical implementation of operations involving grant funds, including the development of back-end services for donation collection, match calculation, and payout distribution. Implemented smart contracts and orchestration of off-chain and on-chain processes to ensure correct calculation of quadratic matching and safe payout to beneficiaries. The systems implemented determined the liquidity of grant rounds: mechanisms for freezing and deploying matching pools, multi-signature for the treasury, and integration with payment gateways enabled the attraction and control of large donor funds. These engineering solutions directly determined the speed and reliability of capital flows on the platform and reduced operational risks during subsidy distribution. Also led the infrastructure scaling process during peak round periods and the implementation of anomaly tracking tools and tools for potential sybil attacks. These specific products and operational solutions significantly influenced the volume of processed donations and the trust of institutional donors in the fund distribution mechanism.
