Core exchange architecture, matching engine, P2P escrow and scaling solutions
Directed technical development of WazirX's core systems, including the order matching engine, wallet integrations and the peer-to-peer rupee on-ramp infrastructure. Implemented the escrow and arbitration logic used in P2P trades, enabling fiat flows when banking relationships were constrained. Led performance and security workstreams to scale throughput and reduce settlement latency, and managed integrations with external custody and payment partners. These concrete engineering deliverables determined how WRX was used for fee rebates, staking-like rewards and operational liquidity management on the platform. Technical decisions around database architecture, matching algorithms and P2P dispute handling fully shaped the exchange's capacity to absorb retail volume, influenced user experience of WRX utility features, and set the baseline for later integration with Binance systems after acquisition.
