Directed the technical engineering of Acala's runtime and core modules, translating economic specifications into on‑chain code that governs asset behaviour and token flows. Concrete deliverables under this leadership include the Honzon module for collateralized minting of aUSD, the token‑omics enforcement in the runtime, EVM+ compatibility layer enabling Ethereum tooling, and XCMP hooks for cross‑chain asset movement. Implementation choices such as liquidation mechanics, oracle integration points, fee calculation and gas accounting were encoded into the runtime and directly influence token utility and risk profile. Oversaw security audits, testnet deployments and staged runtime upgrades, coordinating with auditors and validator operators to push protocol upgrades through governance. Decisions made on upgrade cadence, backward compatibility and module interfaces determined how quickly new financial primitives could be introduced and how existing ACA holders were impacted by migrations or parameter changes. Led engineering choices on staking and liquid‑staking connectors that affected supply dynamics and staking incentives for ACA and ecosystem tokens. These technical implementations, including specific code merges, runtime APIs and configuration parameters, had direct, observable consequences for on‑chain liquidity, composability and integration with Polkadot parachain infrastructure.
