Ross Perot Jr.

Real Estate Developer & Fort Worth Booster · Hillwood Development

US industrial and logistics real estate, Fort Worth development, master-planned industrial parks, air logistics facility development

Ross Perot Jr. is the son of technology entrepreneur and 1992 presidential candidate Ross Perot. He founded Hillwood Development in Fort Worth, Texas, developing the Alliance Texas master-planned community — a massive industrial, logistics, and mixed-use development built around Alliance Airport, a cargo-focused airport northwest of Fort Worth. Alliance Texas has become one of the most successful industrial and logistics real estate developments in US history, attracting Amazon, FedEx, UPS, and hundreds of other companies. Perot Jr. has been a major booster of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area's economic development and has expanded Hillwood beyond Texas into national and international logistics real estate. Hillwood's success with Alliance Texas helped validate the model of building master-planned industrial and logistics communities around cargo airport infrastructure, a template that has since been replicated in multiple markets across North America.
