Pilot initiatives were implemented and supported under leadership to introduce peer-to-peer energy trading technologies in networks with a high share of distributed generation. Support from the utility operator's leadership provided access to infrastructure, operational data, and the client base for testing the platform in real-world conditions, significantly enhancing the practical validation of Power Ledger's business models and technical solutions. Participation in the pilots influenced the readiness of local regulators and consumers to accept blockchain-based calculation and benefit distribution mechanisms, and helped create use cases for subsequent scaling. Decisions on cooperation and public support of such experiments by the leadership strengthened trust among investors and industry partners in the project.
