Designed core consensus (Roll‑DPoS), authored protocol whitepaper, led mainnet deployment and governance setup

Led the engineering and product roadmap that produced IoTeX's core protocol decisions and the network's initial live deployment. Responsibilities included drafting and advocating the whitepaper specifications for Roll‑DPoS consensus, defining staking and delegation mechanics for IOTX token utility, and coordinating the integration of account, staking and reward contracts into the mainnet release. Operational leadership extended to organizing the validator election process, publishing upgrade proposals, and supervising client releases used by validators and node operators. Practical technical choices made under leadership directly shaped how the IOTX token accrues utility and secures the network: consensus parameters, epoch timing, and reward curves were decided and implemented as on‑chain logic, which influenced staking incentives and secondary‑market holder behavior. Implementation oversight ensured compatibility between the core node software, local SDKs, and lightweight clients for IoT devices. Additionally, managed external developer grants and partnerships to bootstrap device integrations (for example, sensor and gateway proofs), and coordinated public communications around mainnet milestones that affected listings and liquidity. These documented actions created concrete on‑chain rules and client binaries that determine token issuance, validator economics, and upgrade paths for IoTeX.
