Authored technical analyses, client code and public critiques that shaped node operator and developer responses to ABC changes and the IFP, influencing protocol adoption

Produced peer‑review style technical critiques and research papers examining the incentives, attack surfaces and measurable effects of proposed Bitcoin ABC changes, notably the Infrastructure Funding Plan. Those published analyses identified security and governance risks and were used by node operators and other developers when choosing client implementations and upgrade paths. Contributed concrete code and testing work within alternative implementations and research repositories, delivering reproducible evidence and patches that showed how ABC proposals would behave under real‑world conditions. The combination of reproducible test results, whitepapers and client patches provided practical inputs that many node operators used to justify rejecting or modifying proposed upgrades. Through a mix of formal technical documentation, open source commits and public presentations, shaped the engineering debate around which protocol choices were safe and deployable. That technical steering had direct downstream effects on which chain forks achieved majority node support, and therefore on the practical viability and market recognition of tokens tied to competing BCH implementations, including the lineage that became eCash (XEC).
