Led design and deployment of USDT smart contracts and mint/burn infrastructure across Omni, ERC‑20, TRC‑20 and other chains
Took charge of engineering and operational architecture that determined how USDT functions across blockchains and exchanges. Led the teams that implemented and deployed USDT contracts and reference clients on Ethereum (ERC‑20), TRON (TRC‑20) and other chains, and built the internal APIs and key‑management processes used to mint, burn and distribute tokens to partner platforms. Those technical decisions directly shaped on‑chain liquidity patterns by enabling fast issuance and cross‑chain transfers without requiring users to rely solely on the original Omni implementation. Oversaw the creation of tooling and dashboards that exposed transaction flows and supported liquidity operations, reducing friction for exchanges and OTC desks that integrated USDT as a dollar proxy. Managed upgrades to signing infrastructure, hot/cold key handling and partner APIs that determined speed and reliability of large mint/burn cycles and thus the instrument's practical fungibility across venues. Drove transparency and reporting initiatives at the engineering level by operationalizing periodic reserve attestations and publishing technical details about token contracts and issuance processes. Those steps affected market trust by making mint/burn mechanics auditable on‑chain and by providing counterparties with technical endpoints for reconciliation, directly influencing USDT's acceptance by custodians and trading venues. Continued to coordinate cross‑chain expansions and protocol choices that reduced dependence on any single blockchain, decisions which materially altered settlement paths, counterparty risk profiles and the liquidity distribution of USDT across the crypto ecosystem.
