Nick Sleep co-managed Nomad Investment Partnership with Zak Zakaria from 2001 to 2014, generating exceptional long-term returns. Sleep became known in value investing circles for his "scale economics shared" concept — identifying businesses that use their competitive advantages to lower prices and share the benefits with customers, creating a virtuous cycle of growth. His large early positions in Amazon, Costco, and Berkshire Hathaway were based on this insight decades before these companies became consensus favorites.
