Designed the decentralized database protocol, led mainnet deployment, implemented smart-contract staking and replication logic that defined token utility
Technical leadership focused on protocol design and on-chain integration that translated into practical utility for the BLZ token. Led specification and implementation of the decentralized database architecture, including shard/replica management, consensus interactions and the node incentivization model. Those engineering choices determined how BLZ is staked by dApp consumers and how validators are rewarded for providing storage and retrieval services. Managed the mainnet deployment and subsequent protocol upgrades, authoring or supervising concrete code changes to smart contracts that control staking schedules, service-level agreements and dispute resolution among nodes. By implementing staking hooks and token-burning or reward flows in on-chain contracts, technical work directly influenced token velocity and the economic incentives for node operators and clients. Coordinated with SDK and tooling teams to enable developer adoption, producing client libraries and migration guides used by early integrators. Decisions about API surfaces, replication semantics and upgrade paths shaped how third-party teams integrated BLZ services and how much token demand arose from operational usage rather than pure speculation.
