Co-founder and Protocol Lead (former) · AirSwap

Designed peer‑to‑peer matching, off‑chain order architecture and protocol governance primitives

Responsible for the initial protocol architecture that defined AirSwap's peer‑to‑peer trading approach and the division between off‑chain negotiation and on‑chain settlement. Actions included authoring or co‑authoring technical design documents that specified order formats, signature schemes and the state transitions expected by Swap contracts. These documents were the basis for the contract code that references AST as a utility and for the developer SDKs used by integrators. Led experiments and prototype deployments validating off‑chain order relays and counterparty discovery, selecting concrete engineering choices such as EIP‑712 typed signatures and the structure of order objects that later became standard in AirSwap releases. Those technical choices determined how AST would be required or referenced within matching flows and how makers bid for taker orders. Engaged in coordination with auditors and external developer contributors to translate protocol designs into audited smart contracts, and influenced decisions on fee mechanics, relayer interfaces and node incentive logic. By driving the protocol specification and prototype validation, directly shaped the functional role of AST in trade permissioning, matching incentives and integration patterns adopted by market participants.
