Michael Klein

Michael Klein spent over two decades at Citigroup, rising to become one of its most senior bankers with the title Global Head of Banking. He developed expertise in advising sovereign wealth funds, government-related entities, and major corporations on complex cross-border transactions, often involving politically sensitive dimensions in the Middle East, Asia, and emerging markets. He founded M. Klein & Company as an independent advisory firm, where he has advised on some of the largest transactions of the post-crisis era. Klein also became known for sponsoring multiple SPACs (Special Purpose Acquisition Companies) during the SPAC boom.
