Marshall Hayner
tokenomics, product design, partnerships and regulatory engagement
As an executive founder responsible for product and business strategy, played the central operational role in turning a token concept into a consumer payments product. Guided the specification of issuance schedules, reward flows and staking mechanics that underlie MTL utility and governance, translating theoretical tokenomics into deployable contract parameters and UX for end users. Through active engagement with partners, exchanges and early adopters, established the commercial pathways that provided initial liquidity and on‑ramp/off‑ramp options for MTL holders. Negotiations and integrations led by the team under this leadership determined listings, fiat rails and fee settlement options that materially affected token circulation and merchant acceptance. Oversaw regulatory and compliance positioning which influenced how MTL was presented to regulators and consumers, shaping custody, KYC flows and reward structures to align with legal constraints. Continued public communication and roadmap decisions under this leadership have affected community governance participation and the practical scope of on‑chain staking and governance features.
