Implemented consensus client, staking logic and validator incentives affecting token mechanics

Led the engineering effort to implement the network's consensus client and the on‑chain modules handling staking, slashing and validator election. His implementation decisions determined reward schedules, unstaking delays and slashing thresholds that directly influenced token velocity and lockup behavior for large holders. Integrated the consensus code with the privacy transaction verification pipeline to ensure that validation and reward settlement remained compatible with confidential transaction formats. Worked with the economic design team to translate theoretical tokenomics into executable smart contracts and on‑chain parameters, managing hard fork deployments that altered staking economics. Performed optimizations to block production and finality paths that changed throughput characteristics, which materially affected available on‑chain liquidity and the speed at which DUSK could be moved or settled in large volumes. Collaborated with exchanges and custodial partners to support node operation and validator-as-a-service integrations, producing deployment guides, monitoring tools and client releases used by operators. Those operational artifacts and client updates lowered the barrier to validator participation, influencing decentralization and the distribution of staked DUSK across the network, with consequent impacts on market liquidity and price formation.
