Linda Bradford Raschke
Short-term trading, futures markets, market structure, swing trading
Linda Bradford Raschke began her trading career on the floor of the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange in 1981 and later moved to futures trading. She was featured prominently in Jack Schwager's "The New Market Wizards" (1992). She founded LBR Group and managed money for over two decades with a consistent track record. Raschke is known for her work on short-term pattern recognition, swing trading, and market microstructure. She has published extensively and contributed to the CMT curriculum through her technical analysis research. Her transition from open-outcry floor trading to electronic futures trading, and her consistent adaptability across multiple technological and regulatory market structure changes, is a testament to the durability of her pattern recognition and risk management skills — developed through years of real-money trading experience rather than academic study alone.
