Linda Bradford Raschke

Linda Bradford Raschke began her trading career in 1981 as a floor trader on the Pacific Stock Exchange options floor, developing hands-on expertise in market microstructure and short-term price dynamics. She transitioned to off-floor trading and built LBRGroup, a trading advisory and education service. She was featured as one of the Market Wizards in Jack Schwager's "The New Market Wizards" (1992) — one of a very small number of women included in the legendary series. Raschke is known for her short-term technical trading approach, using price pattern recognition, chart analysis, and momentum indicators across futures markets including equity indices, bonds, currencies, and commodities. She co-authored "Street Smarts: High Probability Short-Term Trading Strategies" (1996) with Howard Bandy — a practitioner-focused compilation of specific trading patterns and strategies that has become a well-regarded resource among active short-term traders. Unlike many market personalities who transition to education after a trading career, Raschke has maintained an active trading presence for over four decades while simultaneously running an educational and advisory business. She is regarded as one of the most experienced and successful women in professional futures and equity trading.
