Lead Developer / Smart Contract Engineer · dForce Engineering

Authored key smart contracts, implemented lending logic and executed emergency patches

Responsible for writing and maintaining the Solidity codebase that underpinned dForce’s lending and collateral modules, including interest-rate logic, collateral valuation hooks and liquidation mechanics. Implemented upgradeable proxy patterns and timelocks chosen by governance, and authored tests and deployment scripts used across mainnet releases. These contributions directly influenced how DF-backed positions accrued interest and how liquidations were triggered, shaping risk and capital efficiency on the platform. After the major protocol exploit, executed emergency fixes: patched vulnerable contract functions, prepared and deployed migration contracts to isolate affected balances, and collaborated with auditors to verify the fixes. Managed contract verifications and release notes that guided exchanges and integrators in assessing replay safety and migration paths. Advocated for specific security controls such as oracle sanity checks and multi-signature operations; proposals authored by the lead engineering team were adopted into later releases and audit scopes, reducing similar attack surfaces. Also supervised internal bug bounties and coordinated with external researchers to triage reported vulnerabilities. Ongoing maintenance work included optimizing gas usage in critical functions and designing interfaces used by composable partners, decisions that affected on‑chain costs and developer adoption of DF mechanics in broader DeFi integrations.
