Led creation, funding and strategic direction of OmiseGO including the 2017 token sale and partnership strategy that defined initial liquidity and listings for OMG token
Spearheaded the corporate initiative that converted Omise's blockchain research into a live project and token ecosystem, taking responsibility for fundraising, partner agreements and public positioning. Leadership included authorising the 2017 token sale that distributed OMG tokens and approving the initial tokenomics structure used by exchanges and wallets. Took operational decisions tying OmiseGO strategy to business partnerships in payments and merchant adoption, negotiating integration pilots and public collaborations that shaped where and how the OMG token would be used and listed. Responsibilities extended to appointing the core team, allocating company resources to the protocol, and setting timelines for testnets and mainnet work. These concrete decisions directly influenced market liquidity and institutional access to OMG tokens: the token sale parameters, exchange outreach prioritisation and public roadmaps under his authority affected initial market depth, secondary trading, and the pace of ecosystem development, creating the conditions for later technical iterations such as Plasma integration and mainnet launches.
