Smart contract design, token integration and marketplace protocol changes
Led the technical implementation of the RARE token and its on‑chain primitives that connected governance rights to marketplace functions. Responsibilities included authoring or supervising the smart contracts that managed token minting schedules, vesting cliffs, multisig treasury controls and on‑chain voting hooks; those code artifacts were committed to public repositories and underwent formal audits prior to deployment. Coordinated integration work to ensure RARE balances could be referenced by marketplace modules for proposal execution, fee routing and permissions, creating concrete code paths through which token holders could affect platform behavior. Technical choices—for example the particular patterns for multisig treasury access, upgradeability considerations and vote weight calculation—translated directly into how easy or hard it was to change platform parameters. Participated in security reviews and roll‑out procedures that staged token distribution and contract upgrades, documenting migration steps and emergency governance controls. These recorded engineering decisions limited risks around token issuance and set the mechanics for how RARE entered circulation. The resulting smart‑contract suite therefore did not remain theoretical: it established the executable rules that defined RARE's utility on the platform, shaped developer tooling for third‑party integrations and constrained how governance proposals could be programmatically enacted, with measurable effects on on‑chain activity and developer adoption.
