Jonald 'Fyookball'

Wallet developer and maintainer of Electron Cash / cash‑protocol tooling · Electron Cash project

Maintained and updated Electron Cash and related wallet tooling to support chain splits, UTXO recognition and token conversions, directly affecting user access and liquidity for XEC

Maintained a widely used lightweight wallet (Electron Cash) that provided concrete code paths for users to access, sign and transact with Bitcoin Cash and its forked variants during and after splits. Implemented specific wallet logic to detect competing chain UTXOs, export/import private keys and support a broad set of transaction types utilized by BCH descendants. Published releases and patches timed around contentious forks and rebrand events, delivering practical tools that exchanges, merchants and ordinary users used to preserve access to funds, perform conversions and reconcile balances. Those deliverables materially affected short‑term liquidity and the ease with which users and custodians could support or abandon particular token versions. By delivering wallet-level features, conveniences and upgrade releases, the work reduced friction for adoption or migration to whichever chain operators and users chose. That operational role—shipping releases, documenting recovery procedures and enabling split handling—had direct impact on who could practically use, trade and custody the asset that evolved into eCash (XEC).
