Architected and released Storj V3 and maintenance tools, defining storage proofs, audits and node payout mechanics

Oversaw the engineering roadmap that produced Storj V3, an architectural milestone that consolidated storage proofs, auditing routines and the farmer/node payment pipeline. Implementation choices in the V3 release determined how storage providers are measured, audited and compensated in STORJ tokens, creating a direct operational link between on-chain transfers and off-chain storage events. The codebases and release notes he managed are cited as the authoritative source for node economic behavior. Led development of node software, uplink libraries and maintenance tooling that enforced protocol rules in production. Decisions about payout frequency, minimum payout thresholds and dispute-resolution logic were implemented in code and deployment policies under his supervision, thereby materially affecting token velocity, minimum tradable lots and the timing of supply entering exchanges when node operators cashed out. Coordinated security audits and documented upgrade paths that reduced operational risk for enterprise adopters and exchanges. Those engineering assurances lowered integration friction for custodians and marketplaces, which influenced both the perceived counterparty risk and the practical availability of STORJ liquidity in institutional channels.
