tokenomics design, governance architecture, product direction and community incentives within the STEPN/GMT ecosystem
Led product strategy and tokenomic decisions that established GMT as the governance and utility token within the move-to-earn STEPN ecosystem. Work on emission schedules, periodic burns and in-app token sinks directly influenced circulating supply dynamics and user incentives, determining how GMT would be earned, spent and locked by the active user base. Oversaw coordination between on-chain governance proposals and off-chain product updates, creating pathways for GMT holders to vote on feature rollouts, fee structures and token sink implementations. Those governance mechanisms affected market expectations for scarcity and utility, shaping secondary-market behavior and long-term holder engagement. Directed partnerships and fundraising that determined liquidity access points and listing strategies, influencing which centralized and decentralized venues would support GMT trading. This combination of product design, governance stewardship and strategic partnership directly affected both the perceived utility of GMT inside the app and its tradability and valuation outside it, leaving a lasting imprint on the token’s economic model.
