Jason Liberty became President and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group in January 2022, having served as CFO during the company's darkest chapter — the COVID-19 pandemic that shut down the global cruise industry entirely for over a year. As CFO, Liberty was instrumental in securing the emergency financing that kept Royal Caribbean solvent when revenue dropped to literally zero. Royal Caribbean Group operates three cruise brands: Royal Caribbean International (the largest), Celebrity Cruises (premium), and Silversea (ultra-luxury).
