Spearheaded launch, authored initial codebase, coordinated protocol upgrades and community outreach
Led the creation and public launch of the DigiByte project and implemented the initial protocol and network parameters that determined how the token functions. Authored and published the original codebase, created the genesis block, and established core design choices such as increased block frequency, multi-algorithm proof-of-work and initial difficulty adjustment behavior. These concrete engineering decisions set the baseline security, issuance schedule and transaction throughput characteristics used by the network. Coordinated successive protocol upgrades and releases in the project's formative years, managing the core repository and pushing software changes that altered consensus parameters and network performance. Organized and guided early developer contributions and run-time deployments, which directly influenced miner participation models and client implementations across platforms. Executed public outreach and business development efforts tied to the protocol, negotiating or facilitating early exchange listings and wallet integrations that brought liquidity and broader access to DGB. Led community governance and advocacy that shaped adoption priorities, marketing efforts and partnerships, producing measurable effects on network activity and token circulation.
