Designed and promoted Bancor's ICO tokenomics, led protocol upgrades and impermanent loss protection rollout

Played a central role in defining the initial economic model and market introduction that determined BNT's early supply distribution and utility. Responsibilities included creating the token sale structure during the 2017 ICO, which allocated BNT supply and funded development; those allocation rules set long-term supply dynamics and staking incentives tied to how BNT functioned inside the Bancor liquidity protocol. Led the product strategy and coordinated engineering work for major protocol iterations that materially changed BNT usage. Under leadership, the project designed and rolled out single-sided liquidity and impermanent loss protection in 2020, concrete protocol features that altered how liquidity providers used BNT and how protocol fees accrued to the BNT-backed reserves. Those design decisions directly affected on-chain demand for BNT as the protocol token and fee sink. Directed the team's public incident response and governance transitions following the 2018 wallet compromise and later migration efforts. Decisions taken at the executive level about reimbursements, contract changes, and communication influenced market confidence in BNT and the pace of relisting and liquidity restoration across exchanges. Engaged with partners, orchestrated developer funding and protocol treasury allocations tied to BNT, and advocated for DAO-based governance that changed the operational control and economic flows involving BNT. These concrete administrative and product choices left measurable effects on BNT liquidity, staking mechanics and its role within the Bancor protocol.
