Greg Heckman

Greg Heckman has served as CEO of Bunge Global since 2019, leading one of the four "ABCD" companies that dominate global agricultural commodity trading and processing (alongside ADM, Cargill, and Louis Dreyfus). Bunge originates, processes, and transports oilseeds, grains, and sugar across a global network of ports, processing plants, and storage facilities. The company is a major producer of edible oils, protein meals for animal feed, and sugar/ethanol. Heckman's most consequential decision was the announced merger with Viterra (backed by Glencore) in 2023, which would create one of the world's largest agricultural commodity companies with dramatically expanded origination capabilities in key producing regions.
