Controlled treasury operations, authorized large USDT minting/redemption cycles and coordinated banking relationships that determined supply and market liquidity

Held responsibility for treasury management and financial operations that directly controlled the issuance and redemption lifecycle of USDT. Authorized and executed large minting and burning operations, coordinated fiat flows and maintained counterparty banking relationships used to back redemptions. Those operational choices determined short‑term and structural supply dynamics and were a primary driver of USDT availability for exchanges, OTC desks and custodians. Managed internal accounting and cash management practices that linked Tether's on‑chain supply actions to off‑chain reserves and payment rails, affecting how market participants assessed redemption risk and liquidity coverage. Participated in negotiations and operational arrangements with banks and payment processors that enabled large transfers into and out of Tether treasury accounts and thereby shaped the practical fungibility of USDT as dollar liquidity in crypto markets. Was publicly identified in regulatory and litigation filings related to Tether's reserve representations and banking arrangements, and thus his operational decisions were central to regulatory actions that constrained Tether's ability to access certain banking corridors. Those constraints in turn affected the cadence of mint/burn operations and had direct market consequences for spreads and exchange funding conditions. Through hands‑on control of treasury flows and issuance approvals, influenced both routine intra‑day liquidity provision and the systemic response to large redemptions or mint events, making treasury policy one of the clearest levers shaping USDT's market behavior.
