Authored analyses and prototypes of private‑order submission that informed CoW's architecture for batch matching and MEV avoidance

Contributed concrete research and prototype implementations demonstrating how private order submission, bundle execution and controlled inclusion can reduce extractable value. Delivered reproducible experiments and protocol design notes that showed practical trade‑offs between latency, privacy and gas efficiency when moving from public mempool execution to batched, permissioned settlement. Provided advisory input to multiple DEX engineering teams on how to sequence off‑chain matching with on‑chain atomic settlement to close arbitrage windows. Those recommendations translated into concrete design choices in CoW's match‑and‑settle flow: specific signature schemes, bundle verification steps, and ordering guarantees that minimize MEV opportunities. Participated in technical reviews and workshops where prototype code and measurement frameworks were adapted to production constraints. The measurable outputs — test harnesses, replay tools, and protocol notes — were used by CoW engineers to validate that the chosen batch auction model would materially reduce sandwich and frontrunning attacks under realistic network conditions.
