Defined smart contract architecture and core AMM mechanisms used by BNT as the network token

Led technical specifications and early engineering decisions that concretely determined how BNT functioned inside the protocol. Work included authoring the whitepaper and protocol logic that established BNT as a connector token used to route trades through smart contracts, the formulae for reserve ratios and bonding curves, and the on‑chain mechanics for automated market making that directly dictated BNT's utility and demand. Oversaw smart contract implementations and was involved in security responses and contract patches after the July 2018 wallet compromise that drained assets from the protocol. Technical decisions about hot wallet management, contract privileges and the subsequent codebase changes were implemented under this leadership, affecting both immediate token economics and longer-term trust in BNT‑backed pools. Contributed to the architecture for later protocol upgrades that enabled single‑sided liquidity provision and impermanent loss protection. Those engineering choices changed fee routing and reserve accumulation patterns that increased protocol revenue capture and altered the on‑chain sinks for BNT, thereby modifying token velocity and demand. Participated in coordinating developer teams and third‑party audits, setting the technical standards and release cadence for features tied to BNT. These concrete technical contributions defined the contract-level behavior of BNT in liquidity pools and materially shaped how market participants could use and monetize the token within the Bancor system.
