Protocol architecture, smart contracts, and token economics for Rocket Pool

Principal technical architect responsible for the design and implementation of Rocket Pool's decentralized staking architecture. Directed development of the minipool concept, the smart contracts that coordinate user deposits and 16 ETH validator slots, and the rETH issuance mechanism that represents staked balances. These concrete design choices determine how users obtain liquid staking exposure and how validator rewards are pooled and distributed. Led the specification and deployment of the RPL token utility and bonding rules that require node operators to stake RPL as collateral. Authored and maintained multiple protocol upgrades and smart contract releases, executed audited contract deployments, and coordinated client-side tooling for node operators. Those actions directly shaped the security model and economic incentives used by Rocket Pool. Oversaw operational decisions that affected adoption metrics, such as minipool parameters, minimum operator requirements and compatibility with Ethereum client implementations. Continued stewardship through protocol governance proposals and code releases linked to Rocket Pool's on‑chain governance framework, thereby materially influencing RPL token value drivers and the protocol's competitive positioning in liquid staking.
