David Hunt

David Hunt has served as CEO of PGIM, Prudential Financial's investment management business, since 2011. He has overseen PGIM's growth from $800 billion to over $1.3 trillion in assets across multiple asset classes including fixed income, equities, real estate, private alternatives, and quantitative strategies. PGIM is one of the world's top 10 investment managers globally, benefiting from Prudential's insurance capital as a stable asset base. Hunt has expanded PGIM's global footprint and diversified its investment capabilities through organic growth and strategic hiring. Under his leadership, PGIM built out a significant private credit and infrastructure debt capability, positioning the firm to benefit from the secular shift toward private market allocations among pension funds and insurance companies seeking higher yields than available in public fixed income.
