David Campbell

David Campbell serves as President and CEO of Evergy, Inc., the regulated electric utility formed from the 2018 merger of Westar Energy and Kansas City Power & Light (a subsidiary of Great Plains Energy). Evergy serves approximately 1.7 million customers across Kansas and western Missouri, a service territory that includes the Kansas City metropolitan area and many rural Kansas communities. Campbell's leadership has coincided with a remarkable shift in Evergy's growth outlook. Campbell's ability to convert the data center pipeline into connected load, secure constructive regulatory outcomes, and finance growth while maintaining credit quality are the primary stock drivers.
