Authored core smart contracts, led token sale architecture and protocol releases
Led technical development of the project's on‑chain infrastructure, translating the Request whitepaper into production smart contracts and deployment artifacts. Responsibilities included authoring and reviewing the ERC‑20 token contract used for REQ distribution, coordinating security audits of payment and invoicing contracts, and designing the permissioning model for off‑chain invoice anchoring. These concrete engineering decisions determined how REQ is minted, allocated during the ICO and how it interoperates with Ethereum wallets and custodial services. Played a central operational role in the token sale mechanics and treasury management by specifying token vesting schedules, multisig treasury controls and the contract interfaces used for marketplace integrations. Publicly released protocol upgrades and governance proposals that adjusted gas optimization patterns and payment settlement flows, producing measurable effects on transaction costs and on‑chain settlement times for REQ transfers. Engaged directly with external integrators and auditors to enable accounting and invoicing tools to accept REQ as settlement currency, producing SDKs and reference implementations that downstream services used. Those artifacts and managerial choices created the technical foundation that allowed exchanges, custody providers and AMM pools to list, trade and settle REQ as an ERC‑20 token.
