Governance design, treasury allocation, product launches and incident response
Oversaw the earliest governance architecture and coordinated core proposals that defined how the Badger treasury and token would be used. Played a central role in authoring and shepherding on-chain governance proposals that allocated grants, bootstrapped liquidity pools, and funded integrations with Bitcoin-bridging primitives such as renBTC and wBTC. Drove product coordination for the initial Sett vaults, working with smart contract contributors to prioritize yield strategies and fee mechanics that determined BADGER token utility and treasury revenue flows. Led the community response and operational remediation following a front-end compromise and related security incidents, organizing forensic investigations, communicating remediation steps to token holders, and proposing compensation and recovery governance actions. Those actions materially affected market confidence, short-term token liquidity and the DAO’s risk-management posture. Managed cross-team liaison with external protocol partners and service providers to secure integrations, listings and partnerships that expanded the instrument’s on-chain liquidity and user base. Decisions on early treasury allocations and prioritization of yield-product launches under this coordination directly shaped how BADGER tokens were distributed, vested and used as incentive signals across the protocol.
