Technical representative on the Hedera Governing Council · IBM (Council representative)

Led IBM's technical contributions and enterprise requirements integration for Hedera node deployments and SDKs

The integration of corporate requirements from a major cloud and enterprise player established engineering and operational expectations for the Hedera network. Acting as an IBM representative, coordination was done in councils on the use of cloud platforms for nodes, security and compatibility requirements, which led to the adoption of specific node deployment specifications and interface libraries. Technical proposals and feedback contributed by IBM during the release approval process influenced the priorities for fixes, quality control, and SLA requirements for nodes used by custody providers and exchanges. These decisions determined the operational conditions of the nodes, their integration into cloud environments, and certification requirements, which directly impacted the readiness of institutional counterparts to work with HBAR. Public joint announcements about partnerships and integration demonstrations also contributed to the commercial perception of the network and accelerated the adoption of development tools. As a result, technical criteria contributed by the representative helped to form the inventory of supported features and tools used by developers and service providers to work with HBAR.
