Architected on‑chain model execution, supervised the Cortex virtual machine and consensus tweaks

Architected the protocol components enabling on‑chain inference by defining the Cortex Virtual Machine extensions and adding new opcodes that allow smart contracts to call precompiled AI model functions. Delivered concrete code changes in the core repository that extended the EVM‑compatible execution environment to support model inputs, outputs and verifiable results, and implemented gas accounting changes to price AI computation on‑chain. Led the engineering effort that produced the reference implementation of model uploading, off‑chain model verification and on‑chain invocation flows. Supervised security audits focused on the new execution paths, responded to discovered vulnerabilities with patch releases, and authored design documents that became the basis for third‑party integrations and tooling used by dApp developers building on Cortex. Coordinated consensus parameter adjustments to accommodate larger transaction sizes and introduced mechanisms for distributed model evaluation that impacted block propagation and node resource requirements. Worked with node operators to tune performance and to define recommended hardware profiles for validators running AI workloads. Those technical decisions—changing the VM, introducing opcodes, and formalizing gas and consensus changes—directly shaped CTXC's utility as a gas token for AI inference, influenced node economics, and determined the practical throughput and cost structure that market participants price into the token.
