Changpeng Zhao

Changpeng Zhao (known as "CZ") is the founder of Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume. Born in China in 1977, he grew up in Canada and began his career in traditional finance, developing trading systems for the Tokyo Stock Exchange and Bloomberg. In 2017, he launched Binance with a $15 million ICO, and within six months it became the world's largest crypto exchange — a position it has maintained through multiple market cycles.
