C. Vijayakumar (known as CVK) is the CEO and Managing Director of HCL Technologies, India's third-largest IT services company with over $13 billion in annual revenue. Born in Tamil Nadu, CVK joined HCL as a graduate engineering trainee in 1994 and rose through every level of the organization — a rare CEO-from-the-bottom story in an industry where leadership positions often go to external hires or founding family members.
