Wallets, browser integration, token bridges and performance

Directed low‑level engineering work that translated tokenomics into production systems, including wallet generation, key management, micropayment batching and the publisher reward flows. Technical choices about on‑chain vs off‑chain settlement, batch sizes and reliance on particular ERC‑20 patterns directly affected user experience and transaction cost economics. Work on client performance and privacy mitigations influenced retention and the frequency of attention events that underlie BAT utility. Engineering tradeoffs also shaped which third‑party wallets and exchanges could interoperate smoothly, limiting or enabling liquidity pathways during early market formation. Participation in protocol upgrades, integrations with wallet providers and coordination with exchange listing requirements further connected product engineering to secondary market dynamics. Operational decisions in node interactions, fee abstraction and UX for token custody persistently shaped adoption friction and the token’s usable supply in practice.
