Community and governance coordinator · ENS Project / ENS Labs (community role)

Governance processes, community mobilisation, dispute handling and public coordination of proposals

Worked on establishing and communicating governance procedures that allowed ENS to transition from centralised operations toward a tokenised DAO model. Activities included drafting governance proposals, coordinating community feedback, and helping operationalize voting and proposal flows that determined key parameters such as treasury allocations, fee distribution and admin key policies. Participated in dispute resolution and public explanation of contentious changes, acting as a bridge between technical teams and token holders to reduce information asymmetry. This role was important during token distribution and subsequent proposal debates where community trust and clarity affected the legitimacy of governance outcomes. Contributions to governance infrastructure and community norms influenced how quickly and robustly ENS could enact upgrades, respond to exploitation risks and manage valuable name disputes. Structuring these processes shaped long‑term expectations for accountability, the balance between off‑chain coordination and on‑chain voting, and the capacity of the DAO to steward a public naming resource.
