Integrated Celo assets in mobile remittance flows and provided early liquidity channels
Enabled practical fiat rails and wallet integrations by integrating Celo tokens into Abra's mobile app and payments flows, facilitating early merchant and remittance use cases. Those integrations created real‑world onramps and offramps that increased usable liquidity for cUSD and CELO and demonstrated the feasibility of mobile‑first dollar transfers using on‑chain rails. Worked operationally with engineering and compliance teams to map settlement flows, custody choices and exchange routing that affected how quickly users could convert between fiat and Celo assets. Decisions about custodial routing and liquidity partners influenced spread and slippage experienced by end users and by market‑making entities that supported early order books. Participated in pilot programs and public demos that signalled to other wallet providers and remittance operators that Celo could be used for cross‑border flows. By converting technical integrations into live transactional volume, these actions materially increased market depth and lowered the barrier for additional custodians and exchanges to list Celo assets.
