Protocol architecture, token economics, mainnet launch and rebranding
Played the central managerial and product role in taking the project from whitepaper to a functioning mainnet, coordinating fundraising, engineering and community efforts that shaped EGLD's utility and supply mechanics. Oversaw the design and approval of the network's Secure Proof‑of‑Stake parameters and staking reward schedules, which directly defined how EGLD would be distributed, staked and used for transaction fees. Led the token redenomination and swap process that migrated the original ERD ledger to the new EGLD standard, a technical and operational action that altered circulating supply and wallet compatibility across exchanges. Directed the project's major public milestones including the July 2020 mainnet launch and the 2022 rebranding to MultiversX, issuing public communications and governance decisions that affected market perceptions and developer adoption. Coordinated integrations and partnerships with major exchanges and infrastructure providers, negotiating listings and operational support that materially increased liquidity and accessibility of EGLD. Managed protocol upgrades and roadmap prioritization that translated research output into deployed network features. Maintained active involvement in developer relations and ecosystem grants decisions, shaping which dApps and tooling received early support and thus influencing demand for EGLD as gas and staking collateral. Decisions on fee policy changes, delegation mechanics and epoch parameters under executive oversight had direct practical effects on validator economics and on‑chain activity, altering supply flow and staking participation rates that affected secondary market liquidity and long‑term token velocity.
