Architected core product tools (VoxEdit, Game Maker), drove blockchain integration and technical roadmap
Led product engineering and technical strategy that converted a mobile voxels game into a blockchain metaverse featuring user‑created assets. Responsibilities included supervising development of the VoxEdit asset authoring tool and the Game Maker scene/editor, both of which established the on‑chain asset pipeline and file formats that underpin SAND utility and NFT metadata usage. Directed the technical migration and integration choices that placed assets and token interactions on Ethereum and later Polygon, specifying smart contract interfaces, asset minting flows, and marketplace integration points. These design decisions directly affected how SAND is used for minting, trading and staking within the ecosystem and shaped gas/fee mitigation strategies adopted by the project. Oversaw engineering teams that implemented LAND ownership, marketplace mechanics and the tooling for creators, enabling the primary LAND sales and secondary market operations. Those implementations determined supply mechanics for scarce in‑world parcels and the transactional paths through which SAND became the settlement and governance token across the platform. Participated in iterative product releases and technical partnerships with infrastructure providers, making concrete decisions about repository governance, client tooling and versioning that influenced developer onboarding, third‑party integrations and the measurable utility of SAND in user workflows.
